The Logo of the University

The Alt+U logo is an important part of the institution's branding. The correct and consistent application of this logo helps to maintain and strengthen Alt+U's identity and image.

The Alt+U brandmark and the Alt+U wordmark are the two elements of the university logo. These elements come together to form a logo that represents the university to the rest of the world. Except in specified instances that must be cleared in advance by University Marketing, never use the brandmark alone to represent the university.

The Importance of a Logo

A university logo is used to associate messaging with the institution's "signature." The logo is usually found at or near the bottom of the page, but it can also be found elsewhere. The logo should not be used as a heading or incorporated within a message.
