College of Social Sciences & Philosophy
The College of Social Sciences & Philosophy offers courses in the scientific study of human cognition and conduct, interpersonal relationships, and the formation and operation of human society's institutions.
The college aspires to generate liberally educated students who not only think critically, but also weigh the ethical consequences of their choices. The institution is unique in that it takes an interdisciplinary approach to comprehending, evaluating, and criticizing the historical, social, political, economic, and cultural realities of women and people of color in our society and around the world.
